My Father,
As I begin my day, I want to express my love for you. I see your creation all around me. I see your hand in the sunrise every morning as the day awakens. I love you, Lord, and I am so thankful that you love me--just as I am. You know that sometimes I don't feel worthy of this love you have for me. Please help me to realize that you will always love me. All I need to do is to come to you, and I will feel that love flow through me.
I pray that you guide me through my day, making me aware of your presence in every instance. Help me to seek your guidance, moment by moment.
Lord, please help me to see others as you see them, not as I see them. We are all works in progress. Grant me patience as I go through this day. Guard my thoughts and my tongue--let there only be good and pure thoughts and words.
And most of all, Lord, let me be an example of you so that others may see and come to know you. Put the words that I am to say into my mouth because you know that I sometimes just don't have them on my own.
I love you, Jesus. Fill my heart today and everyday with your love.
