How To Plant Your Garden

First, you  Come to the garden alone,

While the dew
                     is still on
                                     the roses....

FOR THE GARDEN OF YOUR DAILY LIVING,

PLANT THREE ROWS OF PEAS

               2. Peace of heart
                                3. Peace of  soul

                              3. Thyme for friends

WATER FREELY WITH PATIENCE AND CULTIVATE WITH LOVE..   THERE IS MUCH FRUIT IN YOUR GARDEN BECAUSE YOU REAP WHAT YOU  SOW.  NOT BAD, HUH?!

Super Sunday--Peace

It's time for Super Sunday!! I love Sunday--it's my favorite day of the week!! I see my beloved little ones for preschool, I see my spiritual family, and most of all I WORSHIP with my spiritual family, and I love to worship my Lord and Savior. And then there's always the added benefit of Sabbath rest.

Speaking of rest--I have had the most trouble sleeping lately--waking up in the middle of the night--using this time to speak to my Father--waking up early, long before I have to start my day--again using this time to talk with Abba.

This has been going on for quite a while. I haven't had a full night's sleep in I can't remember when!! And then, of course, the time change made things a little bit worse.

I was talking with a very special friend of mine online one evening, and my Daily Bible Verse arrived in my e-mail as we were talking. I read it, and we talked some about this. After we finished talking, I meditated on this verse, and for the first time in months, I slept the entire night through without waking and awoke refreshed and alert at a reasonable hour.

ASSATEAGUE ISLAND AT SUNSET

This is truly one of the most peaceful places that I have ever been. I hope to be able to return soon, if only for a weekend--just to experience the quiet, the peace, walk along the beach and hear the power of the waves, feel the wind through my hair and brushing against my face.

This is a place where I fully experience the power, the might, the strength, the love, and yes, the peace of My Father--just being me.

And my Daily Bible Verse that helps me to sleep (I'm sure you're wanting to know this):

I will lie down and sleep in peace,
for you alone, O LORD,
make me dwell in safety.

Psalm 4:8

Have a wonderful Super Sunday, and be sure to visit Peggy to see who is participating. You might want to stop by and visit them also--see how their Sunday is going--maybe you'd even like to participate yourself! It's super, it's simple and it's Sunday!!

Thankful Thursday

I have been so busy lately. Work, Christmas projects, children, just everything! And God is calling to me today--calling me to His side to just be still and listen for His voice.

The post below by hisfirefly really had an impact upon me. I have read and reread and reread this again and again.

So, today, I am thankful that God has love for me, to speak to me and tell me to be still and just know that He is God, everything is in His control.

A big thank you to Heartlight for the above images and Scriptures. I have pondered and prayed over these verses this morning, and through God's Word, I have been able to obtain the stillness He is calling me to. And make sure to search and read the words in the clouds in the next to the last picture. I wouldn't want you to miss this!!
