Deuteronomy 4:29

But if from there you seek the LORD your God,
you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

...the song begins about 1:20 in English...

[for a Spanish version;or an English version shared over at warmharte and another English version is always in the sidebar at the Lighthouse of Prayer on the right after the blog archive]

I read two good short articles related to this: "Why Seek the Lord-7 reasons?" and "How Can I Seek the Lord-7 ways?" by Trevor Lund. I'm working on #1. Seek the Lord and LIVE! Seek the Lord, not past religious experiences. Seek the Lord and experience His power.  Seek the Lord, and experience His Presence!

  1. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” (James 4:8)
  2. For thus says the Lord God to the House of Israel: “Seek Me and live … Seek the Lord and live …” (Amos 5:4,6)
  3. Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face evermore!” (1 Chronicles 16:11)
  4. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13)
  5. “… and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.” (Deuteronomy 4:29)
  6. “Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart!” (Psalm 119:1)
  7. For it is time to seek the Lord, till He comes and rains righteousness on you.” (Hosea 10:12)
  8. “With my soul I have desired You in the night, yes, by my spirit within meI will seek You early …” (Isaiah 26:9)
  9. Then they entered into a covenant to seek the Lord God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul …” (2 Chronicles 15:12)
  10. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.” (1 Chronicles 28:9)
  11. “O God, you are my God; early I will seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water.” (Psalm 63:1)
  12. As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.” (Psalm 42:1)
  13. “… and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6)

Great post!! I am seeking Him more by studying His Word, through praise and worship, and prayer. Because, I know by seeking Him, everything else will fall in line.
