Super Sunday--Peace

It's time for Super Sunday!! I love Sunday--it's my favorite day of the week!! I see my beloved little ones for preschool, I see my spiritual family, and most of all I WORSHIP with my spiritual family, and I love to worship my Lord and Savior. And then there's always the added benefit of Sabbath rest.

Speaking of rest--I have had the most trouble sleeping lately--waking up in the middle of the night--using this time to speak to my Father--waking up early, long before I have to start my day--again using this time to talk with Abba.

This has been going on for quite a while. I haven't had a full night's sleep in I can't remember when!! And then, of course, the time change made things a little bit worse.

I was talking with a very special friend of mine online one evening, and my Daily Bible Verse arrived in my e-mail as we were talking. I read it, and we talked some about this. After we finished talking, I meditated on this verse, and for the first time in months, I slept the entire night through without waking and awoke refreshed and alert at a reasonable hour.

This is truly one of the most peaceful places that I have ever been. I hope to be able to return soon, if only for a weekend--just to experience the quiet, the peace, walk along the beach and hear the power of the waves, feel the wind through my hair and brushing against my face.

This is a place where I fully experience the power, the might, the strength, the love, and yes, the peace of My Father--just being me.

And my Daily Bible Verse that helps me to sleep (I'm sure you're wanting to know this):

I will lie down and sleep in peace,
for you alone, O LORD,
make me dwell in safety.

Psalm 4:8

Have a wonderful Super Sunday, and be sure to visit Peggy to see who is participating. You might want to stop by and visit them also--see how their Sunday is going--maybe you'd even like to participate yourself! It's super, it's simple and it's Sunday!!

So many nights I wake up during the night. I usually wait in silence to await instruction... it's usually to pray. But, truthfully, I really would like a solid night's sleep sometime! I try meditating on Psalm 4:8 also.

I love your picture of Assateague. I've always wanted to go their and Chincoteague Island during the crossing of the horses in July (I think). When I was in 6th grade I remember we read the book Misty of Chincoteague Island. We even made up a little play about it and preformed it for our parents. Funny have certain things stand out in your mind.

I appreciate your comments on my blog regarding persecution. These prayers are for you as well. I'm so sorry it's been that way for you, but so thankful for your spiritual family.

Have a blessed day my friend.

Blessings Beth...This is perfect! A beautiful SCENE that brings such PEACE! The perfect verse of SCRIPTURE that brings HIS PEACE! and an aMazing personal SERMON that allows us to see how Our Father LOVES us & gives us the desires of our hearts! The warning is to always spend time with Him like Sunday in church or with your little ones, SPEAK favor over your situation, TRUST & BELIEVE, not stay up late talking on line with people in foreign lands on a different time's no wonder she wore you out & you could sleep(lol)! No, was God bringing His PEACE & a full night's well deserved sleep for the way you minister to others, you have been a "Mrs. Robertson" to special friends & you are reaching out in Ghana & your idea is SUPER FABULOUS!!!

You are a blessing and may Our Lord
bless you in return overflowingly as you pour out, seek His open door & He will equip you & show you how you can do & live His purpose as you do now in many ways but your desire is to reach out to DV...or
