WFW ~ REDEMPTION

7-10 "Because of the sacrifice of the Messiah, His blood poured out on the altar of the Cross, we're a free people—free of penalties and punishments chalked up by all our misdeeds. And not just barely free, either. Abundantly free! He thought of everything, provided for everything we could possibly need, letting us in on the plans he took such delight in making. He set it all out before us in Christ, a long-range plan in which everything would be brought together and summed up in him, everything in deepest heaven, everything on planet earth."

A PRAYER FOR REDEMPTION

"Jesus, I hear You calling me. I feel You loving me. I know about Your ultimate sacrifice for me.I come to You just as I am and with all that I am. My sins violated the Father and I am so sorry. I repent of them and ask Your forgiveness. I love You because You are Love Itself and You loved me first..."

A PRAYER FOR REDEMPTION
shared here in its entirety:

"Jesus, I hear You calling me. I feel You loving me. I know about Your ultimate sacrifice for me.
I come to You just as I am and with all that I am. My sins violated the Father and I am so sorry. I repent of them and ask Your forgiveness.
I love You because You are Love Itself and You loved me first.

I surrender my entire self and respond gratefully to Your invitation to live in You and have
You live in me, now and forever. I pledge to You and announce to all that You are my Savior, Redeemer, Friend, Master and High Priest.
Cover me with Your redemptive blood and fill me with Your Holy Spirit.
Heal and transform me from being darkness to being light, the light of the world.

I am willing to let Your Spirit take over every part of me and pray for Your grace to help me let go of self-indulgence, self-promotion, self-interest and rather make You the center of my life and complete obedience to You, as Your servant, my passion.

I know Your friends are to be my friends, and Your enemies are to be my own.Your ways will be mine. I know You will discipline me for my own spirit's sake. I accept all this while I embrace You and am nurtured by Your infinite love and mercy and sustained by my complete faith and trust in You, in the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Come Lord Jesus, live in me as I live in You. I love You. I will follow You every day of my life, a life without end. Thank you for loving me into Your kingdom! Amen."

Lord Jesus, I can just imagine Your Cross from that last photo stretched across between the mountains above in the first photo and Your love flowing

...that is how our sin separated us from God, the Father and then You came, bridged that awesome gap and became our sacrifice, paying our ransom. The price of our redemption was at a great cost!

I am forever grateful for the Cross! And I shall shout... let the REDEEMED of the LORD say so!

And so I do and a power filled AMEN to the prayer of REDEMPTION!
Thank You Lord, for loving me so much! Thank You for coming for us!
Thank You for the cost You paid!
Thank You for redeeming me!
Help me live victoriously in this freedom! Let me proclaim Your plan of salvation with even more conviction, strength and Your Light! May Your Holy Spirit revive and renew us with the fire of our first love for You and Your undying love for us! Worthy is the Lamb of God... worthy of all our praise and adoration this day and every day!

When I read posts like this I can just picture heaven on baited breath waiting for Jesus to return as King of Kings and Lord or Lords!

Reading post like this I can't help but send out praise unto Him. Thank you so much Peggy for the sweet prayer you left over at my place.

Peggy,
I echo Wanda...thank you for the prayer that I truly feel when I read it at my site. Your heart truly shines and that picture with the water flowing, I can imagine that water as God's grace, ever flowing....wow...
Just an incredible WORD girl...arriving late, busy day and this is just the afternoon meditation I needed!

ESPECIALLY since our church space (which we've been in for a month had a sprinkler burst this past Sunday afternoon...it's all going to be fine and I've had the African Spiritual ringing in my head all week..."Wade in water, wade in the water children now...wade in the water, cause God's gonna trouble the water....." This image brought it all to light! The church was indeed "baptized" and clean up is a process but WE trust and KNOW that that HE is up to SOMETHING amazing!)
Loved this!!
peace,
lori

What a blessed Word-Filled Wednesday. A couple of wise pastors taught me to surrender myself and my life to Him daily and I'm so grateful! What a joy! And boy, Amy has it so right - no matter how bad life gets - HE IS AWESOME! Thanks for a joy-full visit. Blessings!
