Super Sunday

My friend, Peggy, sent me a devotional last week. It was called "Be a Bounce Back Person." In this devotional, it was described how a "bounce back" person sees setbacks and trials in their lives as temporary, not permanent.

These trials are expected by God, used by God--to strengthen us. This then went on to describe how studies have shown that during a hurricane palm trees stretch, bend, and are pushed over--all the while strengthening their root system and giving the palm tree new opportunities for growth.

Just like us--if we have a strong root system in God, our trials will be used to strengthen us, grow us deeper in Him.

Please be sure and visit Peggy for more Super Sunday!!

Blessings Beth...Perfect scene for a perfect scripture. And I love your roots! May Our Lord go deep down and strengthen you from the inside out! You are a bounce back person and capsulize this so well!
May your children all be bounce backs also. One day at a time, one person or all three with a LOVE dare extraordinare...from a SUPER MOM with supernatural strength! Let His words go deep down & saturate your entire being with His Living Water. Thanks for sharing this with SUPER SUNDAY! May your Sunday be filled with song & scripture that
encourages & strengthens this scene, for a palm will bend but not break...and HE became a "bruised reed" for us. Isaiah 42:3
A bruised reed he will not break,
and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out.
In faithfulness he will bring forth justice;
I love your spirit & you! Still reading....Thanks, Peggy
