A Quiet Time With God

Peggy has a Mission4Monday, and I've decided to join her. This is my mission for this week:

I'm going to be doing a four (maybe five) day series on "Having a Quiet Time With God". This is something that I struggle to do on a daily basis, and I'm sure I'm not alone in this.

In the busyness of our days--our jobs, our children, our children's activities, our activities--how DO we find time to have a regular quiet time to commune with God?

I've been doing some reading and research, and I'd like to share with you what I have learned. There will be some simple assignments, and I'd really like your feedback as to how you find your own quiet time, how your assignments are going, and how God is responding to you.

I'll be working right along with you--sharing my feedback as to how I am progressing in this.

All you will need is your Bible, a simple notebook, a pen or pencil and you!

We'll be starting on Wednesday!!

Please let me know if you're interested in participating in this with me as we learn to commune with God. He is waiting for us!

I PRAYING WITH YOU! I'll be following your QUIET TIME though I spend much time with God...it isn't always quiet

Blessings Beth...you should have linked this to Mission4Monday. It's too late now because they will all miss it. Hoping that God leads others here! I think we need to get the WORD OUT! Maybe just keep linking this with WFW & TT & then TSMSS!

I'll be following along with you. The Lord and I have a regular time we meet, but I like to change it up sometimes. I'm actually teaching at a ladies retreat in 2 weeks were I will be sharing various approaches to prayer, devotional time and actual Bible study time. I may ask to borrow an idea from you!

Hey Sis..
This is something we all strive to keep up with, it always turns out to be such a blessing afterwards. We struggle at times to get to a quiet place and time. Isn't it awesome to know the Lord is waiting there just for us. I will be reading what the Lord gives you through your journey.
