Trust

I find it hard to trust the Lord with those that I love.

I need to remember that the Lord is the Creator and the Giver of every good gift. He gave me these loved ones to share my life.

It's hard for me to remember that those I love ultimately belong to the Lord, not to me. He didn't give me these special relationships to tear me apart, or to control me with fear of the future.

Like Abraham did with his only son, I need to open my heart and give back to the Lord those I love. I must learn to trust Him with everything that concerns me regarding them and believe that He holds me, and my loved ones, in the palm of His hand and He will walk with me through all the things that life brings.

Those who trust in the Lord are secure as Mount Zion; they will not be defeated but will endure forever. Psalm 125:1

There is much truth in what you wrote here. But, oh, it is not a simple task to release those we care for into His hands, even when we know that He knows best.
The good news is that He also knows how much we struggle to do just that.

Trust has always been a big issue with me, also, having had my trust broken by so many others so many times.

But, the one thing I always remember is that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life--and He is trustworthy.

I must remember who HE is--He is not at all like those others who have broken my trust.

His love is unconditional--for you, for your family, for each one of us.

Take your struggle with this to Him, and He will guide, direct and protect you and your family.

He knows our hearts, our very thoughts before we even think them, and there is no one on this earth that can compare to Him.

Thank you His Princess...Your words on trust move me and cause me to praise the Lord in who I trust that the seeds planted in my home, in my adopted kids now with their own, will flourish and bloom, that the Lord DOES have their lives in the palm of His Hand so I will trust in Him!

I recall how I cried when I was reenacting the story of Abraham & Isaac because I saw so clearly how much Abraham trusted in the Lord Hos Provider for the sacrifice yet to come!

Thank you for these words of TRUST in times that we may falter and not be showing in whom WE TRUST!

Trust me! I don't have it all together! I'm such a classic for knowing what I must do and failing to do it.
